Treatment Philosophy
Bowling Green Brandywine gives clear recognition to the disease concept and focuses on the individual patient as a person with dignity and self-worth. Our treatment philosophy is predicated on the belief that chemical dependency is a highly treatable disease and can begin to be arrested through a multi-disciplinary treatment approach that utilizes medical, pharmacological, clinical, behavioral and 12-step interventions. Relapse prevention and discharge planning are also key components in the fight against the deadly disease of addiction.

Family education occurs each Sunday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. The spouse or significant other is encouraged to attend the Family Program. Family Counseling is conducted each Sunday. Or, if the family's schedule does not permit Sunday participation, a conjoint session will be scheduled through the week based on the family's schedule.
